New York is something

I love New York, but I’m not sure what exactly it is. Is it because:

1. Good food is just a 5-minute walk away?
2. Restaurants are full even at 11:30 PM on a Wednesday?
3. Everything is reachable via public transport?
4. You enter a different world as soon as you hit Central Park?
5. I have friends there?
6. There’s no need to own a car?
7. The grocery store is a walk away?
8. The grass seems greener on the other side?

Maybe it’s all of these things…
